Multilayer Rigid-Flex PCBs

What Are Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards?

A multilayer printed circuit board has three or more copper layers. The layers are joined together to form one board. Plated through holes and vias make electrical connections between the layers.

A multilayer PCB can be rigid, flexible, or rigid-flex. A rigid-flex PCB combines rigid and flexible sections in one board. The flexible sections can bend or fold. They also connect the rigid sections.

Rigid-flex technology can replace separate PCBs, wires, cables, and connectors. This can reduce the number of parts, save space, and make assembly easier. It can also improve connection reliability and create a cleaner, more compact electronic assembly.

Multilayer PCB Capabilities and Advanced Technology

Topline Circuit supports multilayer PCB projects with different materials, stack-ups, layer counts, and design requirements. Our engineers review your files before production. They check the stack-up, materials, impedance requirements, vias, and other key details.

We provide PCB fabrication, component sourcing, and PCB assembly through one supplier. This helps simplify project management and keeps each production step connected.

Full-Service PCB Support

Our full-service capabilities include:

We also follow new PCB technology, materials, and manufacturing methods. This helps us support different project needs and provide a practical production plan.
