Ohmega Ticer™ combines two established names in embedded resistor materials: Ohmega Technologies and Ticer Technologies.

Ohmega Technologies has produced OhmegaPly® resistor-conductor material for more than 50 years. Ticer Technologies introduced TCR® thin-film embedded resistor technology in 1999. Today, Ohmega Ticer supplies both material families for digital, RF, aerospace, defense, and consumer electronics applications.

Materials & Applications

OhmegaPly and TCR materials are used to create embedded resistor layers through standard PCB imaging and etching processes. Placing resistors inside the PCB reduces the number of surface-mounted components and frees up board space for routing and other devices.

These resistive materials also give PCB designers more flexibility when a design requires passive resistance, termination, voltage division, or resistive films.

TCR® is a thin-film resistor copper foil designed for digital and RF printed circuit boards. It is RoHS compliant and compatible with standard, high-performance, lead-free, and specialty resin systems.
